    1. How was the invention of light bulb significant to the World's Fair?
    Light bulb invented by Thomas Edison in 1879. Then, Reginald Fessenden invented doucle-dropper lightbulb, calling Westinghouse lightbulb. This light was able to light the fair, by providing lights in dark, showing its beauty. Through the lights at the fair, it boomed the engineering milestone, able to test alternating current and large-scale electricity.

    2. How did the excitement for the fair contribute to the success of Holmes's plans?
    With people's excitement for the fair, Holmes was to attract many guests to his hotel and choose his victims as well as allowing the disappearance of his victims to go almost unnoticed. Also, Holmes was not caught of his murdering because polices were focused in the crime at the fair then the public.

    3. Throughout chapter, once again, Holmes murders many more. Why do you think Holmes mainly attacks women?
    We were introduced to Holmes murdering someone in chapter 14. Once again, in part 3 of this novel, we are able to see Holmes murdering more people. They were all female. Holmes targets women because he is drawn to them; therefore, with his good looks, he is able to charm the girls. So, when with little anger have touched him, Holmes was not able to control himself and murders them. Also, women were easy target because numerous of young ladies were alone in one of the hotel rooms that Holmes have built for World's Fair.

    4. In what ways did Chicago's world fair of 1893 change America?
    Chicago's World Fair of 1893 was successful in pursuing the image of American perseverance. This proved to the world that Americans could do unthinkable things. No country until 1893 thought any country could outdo the French at Paris Fair. Also, through this fair, Chicago became known positively like the New York.

    5. In what ways did the fair served as catalyst for the visitors from other cities?
    At the fair, many new technology and inventions were created, which attracted many visitors from all over the city and country. Such as the lightbulb, it shined the night, showing the beauty of architects and nature even at night. Ferry's Wheel have topped the Eiffel Tower by its moving wheel and able to ride in the wheel. Introduction of new technology and inventions attracted visitors to visit the site for its observation and wanting of experience.
